Onwards and upwards, or ever downwards? Monkey isn't quite sure what to make of former paparazzo *Darryn Lyons*' latest career move. From founding the Big Picture agency, to appearing on Celebrity Big Brother, Lyons has now been elected mayor of his hometown of Geelong, Australia. The Sun reports that the man who became famous for his £6,000 six-pack implants is taking it all in his stride. "There was no question I was the underdog, but I've fought bigger battles," said Lyons, after taking a third of the votes in the Victoria city. According to the tabloid, voters were impressed with his work ethic and his campaign message of 'Vision, passion and change.' Lyons boasted on Celebrity BB that he once went to bed with 12 women, putting Monkey in mind of the Billy Connolly quote: "Don't vote, it only encourages them."
