![Bristol's Big Brother star Josie Gibson tells of battle to control weight]()
This is Bristol -- BRISTOL'S Big Brother winner Josie Gibson has spoken about her battle with her weight in a television documentary about yo-yo dieting. The 28-year-old from Yate featured in Got Thin - Got Fat Again! which was screened on Channel 5 last night. Josie, who won Channel 4's Big Brother three years ago, is now a size 10 but admits controlling her weight is a daily battle. In the television show, she told viewers: "I am obsessed with food – I love it, have no "off" button and lick the plate. "At times I've been so desperate to stop eating that I've left the dinner table and gone and put a bikini on for 20 minutes. But it still doesn't work." After appearing on Big Brother in 2010, Josie shed four stone – but piled it all back on when she broke her ankle. Having worked so hard, she admits she felt suicidal about her weight gain – having battled with her figure since the age of six and ballooning to 19 stone by the age of 18. She said: "People would text me saying "go and hang yourself, you whale"– it was horrific. "Over the years, she tried everything to shed the pounds – from fad diets to weight loss pills. "They were meant to flush out fat but left me with spag bol in my pants." Josie is now studying to become a personal trainer in an attempt to stay slim – given that fact she can 'put on half a stone in weekend'.
