This is Derbyshire --EASTENDERS actress Cheryl Fergison will be starring in this year's Derby Assembly Rooms pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk.
Cheryl shot to attention in the soap with her portrayal of Heather Trott, an obsessed George Michael fan, and lover of all things 80s.
She will be bringing magic and fairy dust to the role of Spirit of the Beans in Jack and the Beanstalk, where she will be guiding X-Factor 2011 runner-up Marcus Collins on his journey to slay the giant.
She has appeared on several other television programmes such as Let's Dance for Sport Relief, Strictly Come Dancing-It Takes Two, Come Dine with Me, Loose Women and Celebrity Big Brother.
From tomorrow, Cheryl will be entertaining Saturday night audiences in ITV's new six-week series Your Face Sounds Familiar, a show that challenges stars to take to the stage and perform as different musical artists.
Jack and the Beanstalk will run at the Assembly Rooms from Wednesday, December 4, until Sunday, January 5, 2014.
