
The appointment follows Manifest’s work to promote Gumtree's sponsorship of Channel 5 show Celebrity Big Brother earlier this year.
The agency’s new remit will cover all external comms for Gumtree including the celebration of its 15th Anniversary and private car marketplace Gumtree Motors.
Manifest will develop creative campaigns, handle all media and blogger relations, and produce multimedia content to support wider activity.

In other news, footwear brand VIVOBAREFOOT has appointed Manifest London as its retained PR agency following a competitive pitch.
The agency has been briefed to promote VIVOBAREFOOT’s offering, as support its partnership events with author and barefoot advocate, Chris McDougal, who is launching his new book Natural Born Heroes: How a Daring Band of Misfits Mastered the Lost Secrets of Strength and Endurance.
The appointment comes as VIVOBAREFOOT plans to launch its redesigned website in the summer, and renovate its flagship store, The VIVOBAREFOOT Experience, In London’s Covent garden.
