Adorable moppet George Ezra's Cassy O' video sees the acceptable face of singer-songwriterdom (sorry, Paolo Nutini) stuck in a posh house with a load of girls alternately fighting and masturbating, like a hipster version of Big Brother. Cassy O' is so catchy, but be warned: George's bluesy voice makes everything sound sad and the lyrics make no sense. Not that it matters. As with all songs written by someone born after 1990, let's just go ahead and assume that it's about a depraved sex act or a new drug, neither of which you'll ever do.

*ALSO OUT THIS WEEK*

*Little Mix
Word Up (Sony)*Reading this on mobile? Click here to view

Word Up is amazing! No, no, come back: X Factor winners Little Mix haven't totally wrecked Cameo's 1986 classic. Honestly, it's pretty hard to slag this version of Word Up off: not only is it the official Sport Relief single, but Little Mix have turned it into a sexier, more fun song than Mel B's slightly clinical stab at it in 1999. The sport-themed video is packed with celebs, some of whom make sense (Victoria Pendleton, Mel C) and some of whom don't (Chris Barrie, inexplicably reprising his role as the 90s' most famous leisure-centre manager, Gordon Brittas). Confusing.

*Childish Gambino
Crawl (Glassnote)*Reading this on mobile? Click here to view

Possibly the number one song you don't want to come on Shuffle when you're having sex. Crawl, the latest single off Gambino's super-dark Because The Internet, is a track so depressing and bleak the lyrics about murder and cutting are a welcome, lighthearted break from the haunting hook about being "all alone" and "crawling in the dark". It's basically all your Sunday morning hangover paranoia spirals put to music.

*Duke Dumont Feat Jax Jones
I Got U (Blasé' Boys Club)*Reading this on mobile? Click here to view

The sun's out, the rain has stopped for three hours and now the temperature's into double figures in the UK (shout out to global warming!). You know what that calls for? Steel drums! YEAH! Because summer's coming. Er, soon-ish. Hopefully Duke Dumont hasn't played his hand too early, because – let's be honest – releasing a potential summer anthem in March is a bit premature. Enjoy it before we're back in black tights and double jumpers in about a week's time. This one goes out to you, weird people who sunbathe in bikinis in parks in March!

*Trey Songz
Na Na (Atlantic)*Reading this on mobile? Click here to view

The Fugees have been through a lot in recent years: prison sentences, failed presidential campaigns in Haiti, solo careers so weak they're known as "the one who's not Lauryn Hill or Wyclef Jean". So it seems almost cruel that sub-Drake R&B sleaze Trey Songz has sampled Fu-Gee-La on the rubbish Na Na. The track only really gets fun if you pretend Trey is referring to his actual grandma when he sings the chorus. "Oooh, Nana, why you got to act so naughty?/Ooh, Nana, if you keep shaking that ass…" Reported by guardian.co.uk 2 days ago.
